Phishing is the fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal sensitive information such as passwords, patient information, credit card numbers, and more.
If you get a Phish at work report it by following the steps outlined below:
If using Outlook Desktop Client
1. Select the phishing message.
2. In the Home Ribbon, click the “Report Message” button in the “Protection” section, then click “Phishing” in the drop down.
If using the Outlook Web App
1. Select the phishing message.
2. In the menu at the top of the application, click the “Junk” button and then click “Phishing” in the drop down.
If using the Outlook Mobile App
- Open the email and click the three dots below the date/time in the upper right corner.
- Click the Report Message button.
- Click Report as phishing.
